Frequently Asked Questions

Are you estate Liquidators?

We are able to assist with asset liquidation through our contacts with buyers and knowledge of the liquidation process. While we are not able to provide complete liquidation service ourselves, we are able to provide guidance and resources.

How long does it take you to clear out an estate?

This depends on many factors such as the size of the estate, whether liquidation is needed and your preferences regarding what is done with the remaining contents of the home. In a large home where some liquidation is needed and/or it is desired that the majority of the other contents are donated, at least 2 weeks should be allowed for the process. In situations where it is desirable for the process to be expedited as much as possible, and a client is comfortable with all contents being transferred directly to a recycling facility, a home may be able to be cleared out in as little as one day.

I am the executor for an estate which is currently in probate? The funds to pay for your services will not be available until probate is granted, can you still help me at this time?

The executing of an estate is a long and often difficult process. Because our goal is to take as much of the burden off of your shoulders as possible, we are usually able to provide a great deal of flexibility in these situations. If you are in a situation where probate is holding up the clearing and cleaning of a home, please contact us to discuss the options that we can provide.

Can you help me with a home where extreme hoarding is an issue?

We are experienced with hoarding clean up and are happy to help in these situations when possible. Unfortunately we do not have the ability to work in a situation which could be considered a biohazard. If you have a situation where there is a massive volume of reasonably clean material to be removed please contact us for an estimate. If you have a situation where significant amounts of biohazardous materials are present please contact us for a referral as we have collogues who specialize in such situations.
